Pros

The end result, helping people have functional equivalency and communicate with the world is a worthy pursuit

Cons

New ownership and new CEO/Management is not respectful to peoples time or efforts. They continuously throw away talented employees who have been here for years. Have seen them work good managers into the ground with 80+ hour work weeks and fire people if they disagree with the CEO's decisions at all. Consistently pays less then other companies especially to all of its front line workers.

Pros

Choose your own hours Good skill building experience

Cons

You are constantly guilted in to taking more hours because they’re always short interpreters The pay is peanuts compared to current market rates The deaf users don’t treat you like a human and management doesn’t do anything about it

Pros

- Breaks, lunches, and attendance policy are very relaxed. - Stocked break room. - 401k/Roth 401k w/ match

Cons

In previous carriers I have been shot at, lunged at with a knife, tackled by drug users, and threatened on duty. This job is more stressful than that was. - The company lacks initiative for innovation. - Software bugs fill the user experience with problems, increasing call volume. - No communications between management and employees. - Too many unproductive meetings. - No compensation increases for performance or inflation. - Turnover is high and workload is shifted to other departments without compensation evaluation. - Passive aggressive work environment. They won't tell you the things you need to improve on. Instead, they will build a file against you over time. - Suggestions are disregarded and never goes up through Chain of Command. - Health Insurance options are bad.
