Pros

IP Relay is a good opportunity for kids in their late years in high school and early years of college. It's not stressful, they are a 24/7 operation and there are a few opportunities to grow.

Cons

The pay is horrible. Lots of really sketchy people working in IP Relay. Since it is open 24/7 and every day of the year, you often have to put in advanced notice for holidays, including Christmas. I think people were putting in time off in October to have Christmas off. Management favors certain employees - some people get fired for being tardy a few times when other people just don't show up or call in are allowed to keep their jobs. Inconsistency with management. They aren't sympathetic to employees undergoing tragedies. Numbers based. Quality is the last thing on their mind.

Pros

Great co-workers, friends, exposure to a variety everyday. Professional developement is provided for free. Scheduling for part-timers is very flexible.

Cons

The atmosphere of the management team, the work is all about numbers and speed, when it should be about the quality of service being provided to our consumers. No opportunity to move from part-time to full time

Pros

the good part about working @ Sorenson was access to management. They were always accessible- 24/7

Cons

There was limited encouragement of advancement and even though HR posted opportunities, they were almost always 'filled before posted' to the general company.
