Great work environment, but employees are undervalued
Pros
Flexible work environment: working remotely is permitted when needed. Reimbursement and compensation for many travel expenses. Casual atmosphere: business casual/smart casual attire is permitted. Monthly company social events. Welcoming and helpful leadership and colleagues. Intensive training provided. On-the-job learning is expected and encouraged. Good balance between independence and managerial oversight.
Cons
The salary is unsustainable, especially for those with student debt from obtaining professional degrees. Compensation is well below the range for comparable positions in the area (according to Glassdoor, over $30,000 below the average). As a result, they have poor employee retention which gives the impression that employees are undervalued.
