We take a lot of pride in knowing our support to the team creates a collaborative and inclusive environment. I am sorry to hear you did not have the best experience with our busy season. The annual nature of the tax work this team supports can be stressful, especially when you are going through a transition into a new environment at the same time. As you mentioned, we do what we can to lighten the burden by allowing flexible work arrangements and other support during the busy season. It really is an all hands on deck approach. We also offer flexible time off benefits to ensure that our teams can have the break they very much deserve after tax season is over. Every year we also have focused efforts to continue to improve the impact of the heavy workload on our operations teams during tax season. Although this role did not fit your interests, we appreciate your valiant efforts to our customers to ensure a positive experience for them. Thank you again for the time you have spent with us. First of all, you are so right- we have many great Sovosians working across all departments. I’m also pleased to hear you appreciated our flexible work environment- including the ability to work from home and our paid time off program, MyTime. We truly value employees and want to make sure everyone has the flexibility they deserve. Our Compliances Services department has a very structured and straightforward career path which allows for fast-tracked progression. I actually like how you called out “getting your foot in the door” because I think that is one of the best things Sovos can offer employees, especially entry and junior level roles. Sovos has many opportunities to advance and develop, not only in the Compliance Services organization, but across the organization. I believe almost every department at Sovos has someone within their team that started their career in Services, and we have many tenured Services team members who’ve taken advantage of the career path within the department.
