A great place to challenge yourself

Pros

There is a huge concentration of brilliant people in one place. Everyone is willing to listen and explore new ideas. Very few barriers between teams - lots of open communication. Easily accessible senior management with tangible goals. Office atmosphere is fun and open.

Cons

Being a mis-sized company is a double edged sword. There is flexibility to create new work, but sometimes not enough bodies to carry out the vision. Currently stuck somewhere between small startup and mid-sized multi national.

Pros

- A clever, clueful, committed team. A great culture and senior leadership team who genuinely appear to live the company's values. - A large and exciting customer base (delivering almost 40% of all b2b and b2c email) - A compelling product strategy focussed on going beyond email delivery to utilizing data science to improve customer engagement and conversion. - New CEO and senior leadership has brought focus and renewed energy to the business.

Cons

With a new CEO joining mid-2018 and significant effort being made to ensure that company has the right talent in place to meet its objectives, there has inevitably been painful change. Many of the recent reviews are reflective of this. The good news is, having got through these organizational changes, it feels like the company has a renewed sense of direction and a really great energy.

Pros

This place and these people (ones who are still here and others who have moved on to new adventures) are family. They've supported me, given me opportunities to grow, give me straight talk, laugh along with me, and love me and my family. A couple have become my dearest and closest friends whose impact on me and my love for them is immeasurable and lifelong. Oh yeah - and we do awesome work :)

Cons

There's always challenges in any business whether it's market shifts or technology changes. My recommendation to anyone in any company is to take any concerns you have, propose a plan for making things better, and elevate them up. In my 8 years here I've always seen that be a positive path for any challenging situations.
