Pros

DO NOT WORK HERE. I couldn’t give it 0 stars. I have never felt so mistreated, unappreciated, and belittled as an adult. The people who make all the decisions are terrible, the training is terrible, the hours are terrible, the dress code is terrible, and the quality of work you learn to produce is terrible. I repeat, DO NOT WORK HERE. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy and nearly cried when I got another job offer which allowed me to leave that hell hole.

Cons

Really, the only thing this place gave me was a job above minimum wage and being able to meet other people who were as desperate in their job search as I was.

Pros

The benefits are great and you can bid to change your schedule and i love VTO and i love my supervisor also the training is great and informative you can definitely move up the ladder but pgp is they only way to get promoted and that is only based on metric numbers

Cons

During the pandemic Spectrum/Charter really showed out and showed me how they really feel about the employees thats on the frontline the Pay isn't worth it and yes the rumors are very true “YOU ARE JUST A NUMBER” flushing call center is competing with the big call center in texas everything changed when HR staff changed and transferred out that's when everything went down hill and YES! it’s true that spectrum saying is " You are just a number" metrics is the only thing they care about YES YOU CAN GET A WRITE UP IF YOU ARE DOING BAD ON YOUR METRICS even if its 1 metric at first, you was able to work from home and then after a while, they turned it into something you had to earn APPLY AT YOUR OWN RISK a lot of us are leaving before the year is done be prepared to do video internet and ip streaming and Apple TV device without a pay increase METRICS IS THE ONLY THINK THEY CARE ABOUT and if you want a promotion you should care about the metrics also they are obsessed with being the number 1 call center in the nation because Texas is leading right now

Pros

It used to be a good place.

Cons

I've been doing a lot of thinking about why I've been so unhappy at my job for so long. When I started my position, years ago, I was more involved in the process of what I do. I worked with Sales quite a bit to determine the best options, and I held the projects from start to finish, so if something went wrong, I knew the entire background. I also had a lot of flexibility in how to get things accomplished. It was challenging, but it was also fulfilling. My higher ups had done their time in this position, so knew everything we were facing. Then came the merger with TWC, and we got silo'd. Boy, did we get silo'd. Now if something goes wrong, we have no idea what Sales promised the customer. But it's still on us to fix the issue. So that's stressful, to say the least. Then a number of shake-ups in the chain of command. Now we have higher ups who have no clue what we do, and have admitted it, but micromanage us anyway. They keep coming up with ways that they think will make our jobs easier, but honestly, they're just getting in our way. And we now have a manager who just does whatever they're told to do by these same know-nothings. So those of us who do the work are suffering for it.
