Pros

Decent compensation and benefit system. Free services.

Cons

Low morale, questionable sales tactics, no care for the individual only money. Their reaction to COVID-19 is also very concerning. I feel truly sorry for the techs and engineers.

We appreciate your concerns as we work together through these unprecedented challenges. As part of a FEMA Community Lifeline sector, our services are essential to keeping hospitals, first responders, government facilities, the news media and our communities connected and to protect the country. Making sure we deliver these vital communications while supporting employees is our top priority. To that end, we recently made a number of changes to our operations that will help our employees better manage through this challenging time. These include an additional 15 days of paid time off to be used for any COVID-19 related personal need, increased social distancing plans in all of our call centers and operations facilities, and the option for remote work for employees whose jobs allow them to work outside the office without endangering our obligation to provide critical services.

Pros

I had high hopes for this company. Very disappointed.

Cons

Company only care about sales not individuals as we are in a pandemic with the coronavirus they still enforcing all sales reps to knock on peoples doors at their homes until 7:45pm and try to sale them on our services. Daily emails going out telling us about hitting our numbers vs asking us how we are feeling or doing during a crisis like this. We are paid by Commission if clients don’t get installed we don’t get paid for the sale. Clients are canceling due to the virus, so we are working for free and putting our own health at risk.

Pros

Pay above industry average. Medical benefits have improved year over year with no additional paycheck deduction. Started at 3weeks paid vacation

Cons

NetOps EVP has created a truly toxic environment that has filtered down to all levels of leadership. Push to find blame for every issue has resulted in no one taking ownership of issues or projects for fear of being the one the finger is pointed at, this results in often the bare minimum being done to accomplish goals instead of the “correct” thing that may improve the customer experience or clean up tech debt. Good leaders have been pushed out of the company if they try and protect their employees or try to inform those above of the realities that could contradict their pre-determined conclusions on major projects. Forced relocation for a large number of engineering employees to Denver area following the merger, only to have further career advancement frozen or severely restricted due to arbitrary rules set by HR (which reports to the EVP who most issues can be traced too). Denver area employees no longer get “free cable” cited as a perk for many reviews. They used to get an “out of market” account that allowed streaming access and access to many channel websites, comparable to services offer to those in Spectrum service areas. That benefit was removed some time ago and replaced with a severely stripped down streaming option that doesn’t include anything really worth watching.
