Pros

Can make money and get experience while working from home

Cons

I saw Splash Financial offer a DevOps job to a guy and then after he put his notice in at his job, the Friday before he was to start, called him and revoked the job. Splash encouraged us to recommend friends for the job by giving a refer a friend bonus if the employee stayed. I was encouraged to bring someone in who changed his career completely to join, only for Splash to lay him off two months later. When I say management is bad, these are 2 great examples of what I mean. Incompetent management screwing with people’s lives.

Pros

Allows permanent work from home. Unlimited pto

Cons

Unlimited pto with no payout Insurance isn't great and expensive Company has no culture Company is stale Top level management doesn't know how to implement new products. Almost all other companies in this sector offer more benefits. HR does not exist within the company. Extremely unprofessional overall.

Pros

I have had the honor of working with Splash Financial since the beginning of 2018. At that time the tech team consisted of two people, and we had many projects to look forward to. Since then, the entire team has expanded rapidly, the tech team in particular growing from 2 people to 9 and still growing. The company culture strives for achievement, and also values life balance. I've never encountered issues when needing to take a break or work from home. Furthermore, there is cross-department communication, so that when we address issues or improve our business, we have many perspectives able to kindly add their thoughts. Overall, the entire team is kind, fun, and focussed.

Cons

We are still a start-up, and although successful with an upward trajectory, we do share some common start up struggles.
