      Don't Expect Much from Spokeo

      Pros

      You get free drinks, snacks, and lunch if you work at the office. Other than that, I'm struggling to find additional pros...

      Cons

      MANY angry callers. You will get PTSD if you work here too long. There is no way to progress/move up in the company. I would NEVER go back to this role, even if it paid $90/hour.

      Pros

      Great culture team. People are genuinely nice and hardworking. Very generous company with nice benefits like health insurance. Decent 401K match program. Flexible WFH schedule. Very good working environment in majority of the teams.

      Cons

      Resource is limited but can be utilized more wisely to focus on valuable / impactful things. Current engineering process does not fit the way analytics works. Given above, this team is yet to work as a ‘brain’ to better support the other teams and prove its value.

      Pros

      The majority of people are nice. Free lunches, snacks and beer. Good health benefits.

      Cons

      The sexism noted in other reviews is absolutely true and will likely not improve. Racism by managers is tolerated as well along with blatant lying for the purposes of manipulation. There is a "blame the employee" response when inappropriate incidents occur. If you read the "carefully crafted" responses to other bad reviews, there are quite a few "you should have done x" and "our value is this so it wasn't us" built in. I was treated very poorly by several levels of management during my time here and nothing was ever done about it despite documentation and attempts at having conversations. It is also very difficult to advance ones career at Spokeo despite doing measurably good work.
