Pros

I've been at this company for well over a decade - this company cares about doing right by it's customers, they trust their staff to make good choices, they try to be transparent and positive as much as they can. They are open minded and flexible, and encourage their staff to go on vacation and take advantage of their benefits (free food, free rentals, great discounts, etc).

Cons

Pay is on the lower end of the spectrum for the Bay Area.

Pros

- Good people work the floor - Food program was great, you didn't have to buy or bring lunch if you didn't want to - 40% off discount goes a long way

Cons

- They promise raises and growth for long time employees then renege - They do not invest time in employees. I saw staffers who were stellar for 6 months, but the second they have a bad week management wants to talk about termination. - During early covid they let go of a ton of their staff due to "budget issues" and wanting to keep "only the best" and the next week announced the second most senior person in the whole company (Aaron Schweifler) got a title bump. I can only assume he got a pay bump with that.

Pros

- great food and fellow employees - everyone is incredibly kind - excellent benefits and store discounts

Cons

- retail is stressful - base pay is minimum wage - store can be very overheated or very cold - on your feet for the entirety of your shift
