Pros

- Good people work the floor - Food program was great, you didn't have to buy or bring lunch if you didn't want to - 40% off discount goes a long way

Cons

- They promise raises and growth for long time employees then renege - They do not invest time in employees. I saw staffers who were stellar for 6 months, but the second they have a bad week management wants to talk about termination. - During early covid they let go of a ton of their staff due to "budget issues" and wanting to keep "only the best" and the next week announced the second most senior person in the whole company (Aaron Schweifler) got a title bump. I can only assume he got a pay bump with that.

Pros

Good benefits and the awesome custodian/chef Felix

Cons

The managers are a joke. They must have “promoted” employees a million times without pay raises. Oh, they also like to pick and choose who gets to bend rules. It’s the most obvious cases of favoritism I’ve ever seen. I know nepotism isn’t illegal but the fact that they don’t even try to hide it is mind blowing.

Pros

if you run marathons/triathlons/bicycle races really any athletic race that requires a sponsor or money to enter sports basement has you covered. Also pretty good healthcare.

Cons

little to no upward movement in company unless working in the offices. Very badly managed, if you're looking for a raise, look somewhere else.
