Pros

Remote, higher pay than similar roles, free therapy, many colleagues are kind and intelligent, the mission is impactful

Cons

The pay is higher than other roles because they ask for way too much. It's true that people start medications or have panic attacks here for the first time in their lives (you will need the free therapy they offer), and care support workers regularly go on stress leave. Every second of your day is squeezed for productivity to the point where taking breaks doesn't happen and you are multi-tasking to an unhealthy point. Your schedule is crammed and always changing, but it is never enough to finish your work. Members therefore think you are not working or blame you for delays, and most of this job entails being abused and harassed over leave paperwork. You handle a million interruptions every day on top of talking all day to people who are not well... all without actually having enough time to do your job. They refuse to hire enough people to handle the work they have at the high standard they expect, and workflows are complicated and differ based on customer. There is an individualistic culture of perfection here and asking what more you can give to them. If you are good at your job, they will put you in committees or assign other work without asking and will constantly have you cover for others. They weaponize data to squeeze more from care support instead of removing obstacles for the team (they seem to enjoy finding a new way to watch statuses or punish you for needing 3 extra minutes after one of your back-to-back calls to follow their insane workflows required for a good QA score), and it has been especially terrible this year. At this time, it isn't worth sacrificing your health and well-being. You won't be able to grow, and nothing has improved in months. I keep wanting to thrive at Spring Health and continue, but I don't feel like a human being.
