      Smart people, but spiritually bankrupt

      Pros

      Product/market fit, serving a real need for employers, lots of talent

      Cons

      Favoritism is not only acceptable but openly practiced, hyperfocus on sales successes with little regard/appreciation given to other teams, and a lack of a true strategy making it nearly impossible to know how to contribute to success. I found Spring to be a toxic workplace where bullying, micro-managing, burnout, high turnover, and a sense of fear were common in many teams.

      Pros

      You will work with some of the most talented and committed people at the individual contributor and middle manager level. The company enables timely access to care.

      Cons

      The company exploits the employees’ commitment to the mission. Senior leadership does not take care of their own. They gaslight and exploit. There is a cycle of abuse that exists, which inevitably burns people out and has negative impact. Additionally, the company doesn’t seem to truly understand what customers are looking for in an EAP. The marketing is BEAUTIFUL but inside it’s rotten. Employees are hurting-tearful, fearful, and questioning their competence. They aren’t taking time to invest in building a reliable EAP product that outshines the rest and customers see right through the facade.

      Pros

      Remote work from home and free sessions to use for therapy and coaching because you’ll need it!

      Cons

      Unhealthy work culture when you’re the frontline. Numbers are of greater importance rather than quality. PTO has been decreased for hourly employees and feedback isn’t received.
