Pros

-WFH -Unlimited PTO ( feels like no one uses it because of the pressures to work) -Nice team members -good pay -CEO is accountable and tries to rectify issues of the past

Cons

-Lack of recognition from higher up. My department rarely gets recognized at meetings, sometimes it feels as if we don't exist. -lack of professional growth -This might be due to remote, but there needs to be better communication via slack. I've had so many unanswered questions, that have left me eerie when communicating to members.

Immature, inexperienced, poor leadership

Pros

Great, smart, genuine coworkers who actually cared.

Cons

Mission of company is very disingenuous with how founders act and behave. Another reviewer put it best -- "typical overeducated and inexperienced millennial management" - this company is like an ego trip for the founders. They don't treat employees and prospective candidates with respect, and it shows. It's not surprising to see all these negative reviews even though they're still a very small company. I've worked at other companies (small and big) that care more about their employee's mental health and their company's culture more so than this so-called "mental health" startup.

Pros

A great product born out of genius. Has some smart and wonderful employees who care about mental health. Has a strong benefits package and fundamentally supports remote work.

Cons

Culture is a problem. It quickly (over a year or so) went from a culture of high performance, teamwork, and caring about colleagues to a toxic culture of fear. Some of the company's individual contributors and leaders threw one another under the bus to get ahead—and HR encouraged this behavior, leaving some poorer performers in charge. There was too much posturing and self-promotion among new leaders. There were constant HR "investigations" of employees. Strong early leaders left and were often replaced by new leaders who knew little about the mental health or benefits spaces and even less about motivating people.
