      First company where i find work/life balance

      Pros

      Being a company that is about mental being, for me personally I am finally finding that balance compared to my previous role at another mental health tech company. The difference of it all is Management

      Cons

      This is not company fault, but covid has caused a rift in RL interactions, but I also live in the west coast so I am a permanent remote. I like the idea of having the option to travel for work once in a while, but have gotten use to working in my own company from home, may interfere with my social skills at times

      Meaningful work overshadowed by poor management and instability

      Company is very poorly misled. There isn't a real vision or culture. In general, ways of working here are scattered and immature. We have a new SDLC every 10 months or so. Constant re-orgs and changes in leadership cause instability. Teams and ICs are re-allocated every 3–6 months. Priorities are constantly shifting. "Science will win" except when it comes to evaluating AI's place in our product. Sudden AI focus despite not having a real vision for how it aligns with our mission. Leaders who report directly to the CEO often cycle out every year or so. There seems to be very little awareness or ownership that leaders aren't set up for success. The company says it cares about employee "thriving" but promotes leaders with very poor scores. It seems to be more of a vanity metric/tool to fire people.

      I am employed and paid well.

      Cons

      The other reviews are true. Everyone is burnt out. The company is guzzling ai and it's clear they are planning for mass lay offs. It's hard to feel like the work you do is meaningful because it always changes. The CEO screams at employees in meetings and they quit.
