Pros

Many talented people trying to do good work, that I wish I could have worked with for longer. Good compensation and benefits. The company mission is admirable, even if it isn't realistic.

Cons

Disregard the negative Glassdoor reviews at your own risk. So many reviews over these past few months could have been written by me, but weren't. A company that was sincere about its mission, and being mission-based, would understand the importance of mental health for those who work to make the mission a reality - the employees. If you are sincere in your passion for mental health, and value maintaining your own, do not be surprised if the culture spits you back out.

Pros

Benefits: Health Insurance, Therapy, Carrot Fertility Coworkers Sabbatical (wish it was longer) Mission and high growth

Cons

High turnover. It’s rare to see people stay past 4 years. Co-founders micromanage. Marketing gets gutted every 18 months. Teams are super lean and experience burnout. Most of senior leadership is new. Our KPIs have KPIs. Company walked back DEI

Pros

Spring Health is a fast-growing, semi mission-driven company that sometimes encourages ownership over your work. If you are self-directed and process-oriented, you can make meaningful impact within the right department.

Cons

Because it’s a startup environment, priorities shift often and processes are still evolving. That can create stress, especially in compliance-focused roles where accuracy matters. Direct supervisors often do not know what is going on and cannot speak to updates. Career pathing and promotion criteria feels unclear. Efforts to clarify have not landed with employees. Rapidly increasing demands as the company prioritizes profit over quality. High performance alone doesn’t always translate into predictable advancement, and more transparency around growth expectations would improve morale and retention. Benefits change often and not in favor of the hourly employee. Overall experience has significantly declined
