Pros

The environment is busy and fast-paced. It's ever-changing so you never feel bored, and there's tons to learn.

Cons

I was hired as a floater and promoted within two days. I was thrilled because I wanted a work "home" and a place to grow. Within the first month of my employment, I became very ill and needed to go to the hospital. I got doctor's notes to be certain I was covered, spoke to my boss about the fact that I enjoyed the job and was sorry for the timing and inconvenience of my sickness. I was fired over the phone the night I returned home from the hospital. I don't think I need to go into detail about how that made me feel as an employee who worked hard and learned all I could in my time at Stark.

Thank you for leaving your comments. When you were hired, we hoped and expected that you would have a long and successful career with STARK. However sometimes it doesn’t work out that way. Reaching the decision to let you go was not made lightly. However under the circumstances it was the right one. In all fairness, what you wrote is not an accurate depiction of the events leading up to your departure. Over the period of four weeks (the length of your employment) you provided your Manager with one doctor’s note and that absence was not a problem at all. It was all the other times you were absent without a legitimate excuse or routinely left your workstation for extended periods of time without a word to your Manager that proved to be problematic. While It is unfortunate that it didn’t work out for you here, we do wish you much success and happiness on the path you choose going forward.
