The Worst Manager And Culture Ever Experienced

Pros

Simple 9-5 type of job that you don't need to take home with you.

Cons

Work environment really wears down on you. Overworked, underpaid, under-appreciated, constantly undermined, a lot of verbal abuse, disrespect, and extremely unprofessional. Constant trash talking and backstabbing, but will be a sweetheart to each others' faces. Why is everyone so angry? Turn over extremely high due to being poorly treated.

High stress level. Untrustworthy management. 6 years without a cost of living raise. Calhoun really gets dumped on.

Thank you for leaving your comments. Sorry to hear that your time with us was so stressful, we never want that for any employee. That said the truth is we are in the customer service business and our Customers have come to expect and demand a customer experience that is exceptional and we deliver. It can be stressful at times but most of our employees actually find it very rewarding delivering exceptional customer service to such demanding clients. If your experiences with Management made you feel they were untrustworthy, that is unfortunate and again I am sorry for you. However we have made changes to the Management Team in Calhoun and I am sure that the new Team will not leave employees feeling that way. Your statement about COLA's is not correct. We actually issued cost of living increases for the past three years in a row. Additionally we've also had annual increases to salaries for the past two years (separate from COLA's) and we routinely issue individual pay increases throughout the year based on an individual's performance.

Thank you for leaving your comments. I think you've hit on a key fact in our success and that is the notion of family. The Stark's started the company over seventy-five years ago and since that time the family has grown. Every employee is considered a part of the family. As far as our benefits go, I agree with you. They are very robust and competitive for the industry but there is always room for improvement. That said we routinely evaluate our benefits and seek out opportunities to improve upon them on an on-going basis.
