Pros

Very few. It’s a pay check and benefits but you pay dearly for them

Cons

Micromanagement. “Coaching” culture where nothing is good enough. Employees are to blame for out of touch upper management’s poor business decisions. You are asked to do unethical business practices to make a profit bet providing customer service. Your job is to find a way to not pay for something to save money. Company is in decline and being investigated and fined in several states. We had a recent survey that indicated a reduction in benefits were coming. Impossible to meet metrics as their own goals prove you are doing the work of 2-3 people. Constant gaslighting. Treat employees like they are “the enemy”

Pros

Nice PTO policy, hybrid schedule, 38.75hr workweek, the company pays for your licensing.

Cons

Only take this job if you’re in between jobs & need to make ends meet! I definitely do NOT recommend this to anyone long term who has a degree or a skilled trade in another field. They have unrealistic expectations. Micromanagement at its finest! Workload is ridiculous, not worth the pay. They set you up for failure & after training they throw you in head first to drown in claims & wonder why customers are angry at turnaround times! Management sucks! They literally micromanage versus coaching for success which is why their turnover is so high. Management has no work life balance, some work as early as 3am and stay up past midnight drowning in work!

Pros

Pay Pto Short term leave for stress/anxiety (trust me, everyone uses it, you’re going to need it.)

Cons

- Current claims handling process - Some managers are too busy looking for how they can nickle & dime contractors & customers instead paying for what is owed - No oversight to managers who does & says what they want, and the people above them just turns a blind eye
