Pros

Great flexibility if you have a remote or proximity position. Great pay.

Cons

In the hubs, there is too much work and no work life balance and you hardly ever are approved for any vacation or personal time.

Pros

Coworkers ; nothing more. New model completely lost good neighbor philosophy. Policyholders leaving -see all important JD Powers report -this is where numbers get to them. 3 out of 5 is "average" -internal surveys show much high customer satisfaction (80%) -hmmmm. They do use favorable math figures to misguide. Thats a pro if you drink the kool aid.

Cons

Just declared a nationwide non-weather catastrophe for total loss claims. Really. Completely messed up entire company claim handling. Their new "excellence in operations management " is a joke. Trying to entice millennials -overworked and underpaid but tell them they have it good -if considering employment here consider other mutual companies -they are more stable, yes do also offer a pension and pay considerably more. If you are an employee at least take classes and get certifications to build your resume. Hiring tons of independent contractors (cha ching) and terminating long time employees. I am not one of them but will be leaving after 23 years. It's going downhill fast.
