Pros

Pay was decent, and my coworkers were awesome.

Cons

They use a point system for their attendance and while I get the point the system and why it is there . I don't agree with how many points they charge per absense. They talk about work -life balance but their really is not one. Their system for their claims is pretty old and really inefficient. The managers made me feel so uncomfortable and really seemed like they could care less about their employees. While this is a call center enviornment if your not on their team it really feels like they don't like you . They micro manage. They walk through the aisles and watch what your doing. They play favoritsim and really you need that in order to move up in the company .

Pros

Good for short term-employment and nothing else

Cons

State Farm is have a really bad two years and making a lot of reactive decisions. It has changed considerably and I would not recommend working for the company. They are laying off thousands of employees or demoting them to hourly job that were once salary. Leadership is short sighted and have little experience in the new more technical and internet world.

Pros

A real pension plan. Vibrant and diverse workplace. Lots of potlucks.

Cons

First line management is overwhelmed with enforcing granular policies. High level of stress based on inflexible and erratically enforced attendance policies. Extremely limited opportunites for lateral movement. Incredibly inefficient use of vast IT resources.
