Pros

paid holidays. not a place anymore that you can work 30 years and retire.

Cons

volume of work, this is no longer a customer focused company, the computer system is a debacle and not user friendly. It is used to track numbers and employee handling of claims. The new CEO is the first non family member since the company was founded and has turned it into just another bean counting insurance company.

Pros

Benefits (PTO, 401k matching, pension plan, tuition reimbursement, insurance education ) Job security (there's always work)

Cons

Good luck getting any time off in this call center environment that they've created. You are just a number and might be considered less than a number, maybe more like a robot. No promotional or lateral opportunities. Everyone is resigning due to the micromanagement that goes on and they refuse to replace anyone. They don't communicate their plans until they're ready to implement the plans. Employees are left having to constantly speculate what will happen next and whether their office location will close based on the State Farm's mass office closures nationwide. Go on their hiring website and you have the following locations that you can choose to work from: Atlanta, Phoenix, Dallas, Bloomington. I suspect they will close all offices and keep the 4 I just mentioned, but then again I'm left having to speculate because everything is kept under wraps.

Pros

There are some good people that work there

Cons

Poor communication from upper leadership; Employees are viewed as a replaceable number. The company has lost its values and no longer treats employees and customers fair.
