Pros

Great Benefits and Friendly Coworkers. Pay is decent.

Cons

Upper Management does not care about their employees. Impossible Claim Load and Very long 10 to 12 hour days to try to maintain Metrics that do not work in Claim Handling at BI level. High Litigation Claims as very little authority to settle claims.

Pros

Great benefits. Good relationships with my current fellow-employees. Currently an easy commute to the Johns Creek facility. Financially stable and sound company with a very long history.

Cons

1. Office is moving to the Perimeter Mall location, which is the worst traffic congestion in the entire state of Georgia. 2. Lack of flexible work hours. 3. Telecommuting is not an option anymore. 4. Salaries are not consistent with similar jobs in the industry. 5. Very stressful work environment. 6. Constant changes makes it very difficult to learn your job before the next change happens. 7. We are held to an impossible production standard. 8. Our yearly raises are a joke. I have a good rating and received a .43/hour raise & I am a 20+ year employee. 9. Management micromanages. 10. There is no work-life-balance.

Pros

They have good benefits and a nice facility in Richardson.

Cons

1) You really don't have time to breathe. They have a 10 hour shift option but they only give you two 15 minute breaks. They even hound on you for taking a break to use the restroom. 2) They lie to you about being able to move within the company. Once you are hired, you are put on a freeze and they keep pushing back the date on when the freeze will be lifted. 3) Those same positions that internal employees want to get promoted to are being filled by external people with no experience and are getting paid way more 4) Management doesn't care about its employees. State Farm cares about the top management people but not the first line employees such as Auto ILR, Express, CAs . 5) They say its feedback oriented but really its just a negative environment all around. You could have hundreds of amazing calls and interactions but they will find even the smallest thing and give you feedback.
