Pros

Good domain to be in. Good work culture, and flexible.

Cons

Very few sensible executives and managers. Middle level managers in Offshore are the real downers. Absolutely NO perks. Poor pay scale. Very unorganized services and support team. Company runs on a reactive approach than proactive approach. Very old technologies, and huge effort goes into seeing a stabilized system. Been almost 15 years, yet in the 20-30million revenue mark. Long way to go.

Providing a culture employees appreciate is important to us, and we're glad you noted it. Many employees also note they appreciate the ability to work with the latest technologies, and our PlanStreaming platform launched in October 2015 has been recognized by Gartner as a forerunner in innovation.

Pros

Good processes in place. Good people to work with.

Cons

Resource constraints makes getting things done on time difficult. Too many competing resources in DEV. A lot of new management in Professional Services.

Thanks for noting the good people who make up the Steelwedge team! One of the challenges of addressing a market with a lot of opportunity is prioritizing resources to capture it. We commend our product, development and Practitioner Services teams for taking on this job on every day.

Pros

The company has a history of innovation that rewards people willing to do what it takes to create market breakthroughs. Already recognized by Gartner as a leader in Sales & Operations Planning, the company launched its next-generation planning platform in October 2015, powered by the same Silicon Valley technologies that underlie high performance platforms such as Google, LinkedIn and Facebook, to turbo charge planning speed and scale. While the company is putting processes and people in place to manage its transition from an "S&OP only" company to a company driving broad planning innovation, management is inclusive in involving people at all levels of the organization in this transformation. This is a place for people who want to immerse themselves in a meaningful endeavor, not a place for people who just want a "steady job."

Cons

Some employees holding on to "the way we used to do things" can create negative vibes. New talent coming in can rally support, but there is the need to address those resistant to evolving along with the company. The company solves strategically important problems for market-leading companies, so sales cycles can be long (although this is the case in many companies selling enterprise solutions.)

Your review is thoughtful and much appreciated. We are working diligently to think outside of the box in terms of process, so we can achieve greatness, transitioning away from the "the way we used to do things" mindset.
