Pros

-Good way to get experience in IT Helpdesk/desk side -Pay is not the worst in industry

Cons

-Managers did not come from tech industry and do not know the day to day -Being part of a distributed work force it is hard to get a sense that corporate cares -Being a contractor means having to please 2 set of bosses Stefanini and the corporation you contract for. Sometimes they do not align -High turnover

Hello, and thank you for your honest review. Stefanini is definitely aware of the unique challenges working at a client site presents. This is part of the reason we have our HR In-Touch program, as well as send new hire, birthday, and end of year gifts. We always do our very best, and will continue striving to do a better job of trying to make our distributed employees feel just as much a part of the team as those at Stefanini sites. Also rest assured that Stefanini’s goals will always align with our client goals, so the two should never differ. Thank you again for your participation. Sincerely, Nick – Human Resources

Pros

some really great, hard working, motivated individuals work for the company and are consistently trying their hardest to deliver quality service to the clients.

Cons

The entire organization is made up of silos of business units that ultimately do not work together or communicate. Sales will make a guarantee without discussing the feasibility of delivering that good or service with either the delivery manager or the business unit. They rely on CA tools heavily but their offshored development team is impossible to work with. The management of the tools business portion makes commitments that he never delivers on, or is abrasive at best with both the delivery team and the client. If you enjoy working twice as hard to accomplish simple tasks and consistently having to ask 20 different people the same question in hopes that one of them would be able to point you in the right direction- APPLY away. If you enjoy any type of structure and mature communication that happens with an organization that has been established for a few years, look any (and every)where else.

Hello, and thank you for your honest review. It certainly seems like you took away a bad impression of Stefanini, and that is not something we take lightly. There are many concerning pieces to address in your review, so instead of responding to each of them individually here, I would like to encourage you to please contact me personally. I would truly like to speak with you on some of the things you claim. Know that Human Resources takes great care to follow all Federal laws. Also know that it is certainly not practice to have peers involved in terminations at all, and HR requests that we are present and well informed in all situations where the loss of an employee occurs. Your described situation does not mesh with our actual practices, so further discussion would be appreciated. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at any time. My direct line is: 248.263.5662. Sincerely, Nick – Human Resources

Pros

The managers from Stefanini are really nice to work with. I work for a client of Stefanini and don't work in the office and the managers make sure that we know what's going on. They always ask us if there are any problems that need to be addressed and care about our work environment. They have an open door policy so you can feel free to take concerns to your manager without any fear of repercussion, and you don't have to worry about the chain of command or going over someones head. Although they do ask that you take your concerns to your manager and start the process that way. Overall it's a great company, the benefits are good and the pay is reasonable to above average based on my location.

Cons

The recruiters don't always know what the job specifications are so make sure they give you as much detail as possible, they also have a support desk that I believe is based in India, they're not the most helpful but it's definitely not the worst call center I've had to contact for help

We’re very glad to hear that has been successful for you. We are also very proud of our effective Open Door policy and are happy to hear you have taken notice of it. Never hesitate to reach out and use it if ever you need. Thank you again. Sincerely, Nick Evans – Human Resources
