Thank you for giving us your feedback. We're happy that you're happy, and we'll heed your advice on treating our employees great! Regarding health benefits, the healthcare landscape looks quite different than it did 20 years ago. In the 1990’s, getting decent health insurance through your employer wasn’t unheard of — it was assumed. But back then, healthcare wasn’t nearly as expensive; rates have increased every year for nearly two decades and it’s unlikely they’ll reverse course anytime soon. Global and Xerox are committed to providing good coverage under these economic realities. Please keep the HSA in mind. There are many advantages to setting up your account. Talk to HR if you need more info about it. Thanks again for your review. -- Joe O'Malley, President

Pros

It's a job, you get paid, only has a high deductible health plan.

Cons

They deduct $150 per month to use their company vehicle. Not sure if it's for use of vehicle or to pay for the GPS tracking system that they track your every move with. If you decide to use your own vehicle, they only reimburse you half of what the government rate for mileage reimbursement is. Then if you go over 1200 miles a month, mileage reimbursement stops and they expect you to reclaim it at end of year on your taxes. Bonus program only benefits employees that don't rack up any part usage costs per month and gets to as many calls as they can per day without getting a call back. Some techs will only go out and replace rollers and if a call comes back, they tell dispatch to give it to someone else.

Thanks for offering your feedback. Like many service organizations, Stewart has a company car program in order to accommodate the spare parts necessary to provide great service our customers. When the program was put in place, current employees had up to 3 years to enter the program. The $150 covers commuting costs to the first service call and from the last service call, as well as fuel, insurance, wear and tear, and 200 personal miles per month. We think that's a pretty good deal. Could you lease a vehicle and have all that included for less? Regarding GPS tracking, that helps our customers get the fastest response time. We can make quick decisions on how to redeploy technicians as well as necessary parts. That's a good thing. The bonus program is a well-known industry standard used nationally. It is a balanced scorecard that weighs many variables including first call effectiveness, recalls, dollars spent on parts, and the number of days and/or copies between service calls. Technicians who perform well in these areas can earn significant monthly bonuses - and there's no cap! Service managers sit down with technicians to review the stats and suggest ways to improve performance and earnings. So if you're not earning the amount you'd like to, please let your manager know that at your next meeting and create a plan to make a change for the better. All of us in Service are here to help. Call on us. - Joe M., VP of Service

Thanks for letting us know your positive thoughts on management, pay, benefits and opportunities. It’s nice to hear from an employee on what’s working for them. We're sorry to hear you are experiencing that type of coworker behavior. You mentioned good management, so I’d bring it to your manager’s attention and ask that they observe the group. When they see it, they can address it. Sometimes direct one-on-one coaching can have a quick impact and result in behavior change. As you know, we don't want that kind of attitude in the office. We strive for "Excellence. At Work." It's more than a tagline to us. We want that for our employees and for our customers. Thanks again for your feedback. - Joe O', President
