Pros

40% discount however since the new policies were announced on 8/2/21 I am not interested in buying anything from Stitch Fix.

Cons

Rigid scheduling, we have to share our schedule 2 weeks in advance down to 15 minutes increments but we don't get our actual hours until 2 days before the new week starts. Also, AI/robots are doing more and more styling and the company is not being transparent about this with clients and stylists take the brunt of the negative feedback (a Fix Preview styled by AI could include 4 sweaters in July for someone that lives in Miami or you could see things you specifically asked NOT to see). Low pay - but the freedom with scheduling made it worth it to me. Stylists are feeling dispensable since after we quit we can be replaced with someone from a state with lower wages. Another small thing, I used to be able to do volunteer work during the day and would make up my hours at night - I felt so lucky to have a flexible schedule and I will miss this. So much for "Stitch Fix for Good".

Pros

You get a discount on clothes, the pay is okay and you get to work from home.

Cons

When I was hired at Stitch Fix, I had so much flexibility with my work schedule. With the new changes that are being implemented, I have to work between designated hours and I have to specifiy exactly when I am going to work. I chose this job for the flexibility. Now we are required to be available to work up to 20 hours each week with no guarantee of how many hours they'll give us. And we don't find out until the Friday before each week what is expected of us.

Pros

The community of stylists is amazing. They really step up to support each other, even knowing each other only remotely.

Cons

HQ at Stitch Fix is constantly finding new ways to upend how the work is done, and if you complain about it the problem is with you, not them, because you clearly don’t have enough “Stitch Fix Grit”
