Pros

Thoughtful to clients who have fallen on hard times, Stitch Fix cares enough to be personal and take as much care of their clientele as possible.

Cons

The culture at Stitch Fix is rapidly eroding and it's because of the people in place who don't know how to lead a company that is scaling quickly. Like other people who have left reviews said, managers clearly show favoritism and are biased, and will support people for the wrong reasons. It makes sense that the reviews on Glassdoor aren't as positive as they once were. The values at Stitch Fix are often talked about but aren't really upheld. Its alarming that people have so many negative reviews about the interview process. Although this is a tech company and its the norm that everyone brings their laptops to meetings, when people are interviewing, pay attention to the candidate and maybe take notes the old school way with a pen. Show respect.

Pros

As a part-time stylist, the pros are the ability to work from home, enjoying a flexible schedule, being independent, etc. Also, if you've never worked in fashion, you'll think it's cool to call yourself a Stylist.

Cons

Pay is $15/hr which translates to $3.75 per client styled. You get paid less than $4 to style someone whether they spend $20 or $200, whether you are good at styling clients or not. There are long stretches of time (months) with very little new inventory. It is depressing to send great clients sub-par items. The good stylists are not rewarded, so high performers leave. Supervisors use this fake rah-rah cheerleader style of communication to try to motivate stylists. It's obviously not genuine.
