No work life balance, low pay

Pros

Work from home, coworkers are great

Cons

CEO has made demands that people work around the clock, promotions are slow - you must be working at the next level for at least 6 to 8 months then wait for a review cycle, unclear requests from management that change last minute, attrition is nuts and teams are shirt staffed, pay is very low compared to similar companies.

Pros

You can work from home but I highly suggest you find another remote job if you can.

Cons

Where to begin? This job at first offered freedom and the ability to create your own schedule which made up for the fact that the pay is low and isn't a living wage. Then when I started as FT they promised that there would be room to develop skills and do something other than just StylingThen they slowly started taking away that freedom with not allowing FT to work a full 40 hours and saying that they should "only stick to Styling" at the moment. Then they set the schedule limits of working from 8am-8pm and having to set the EXACT TIME to 15 min. excrements 2 weeks in advance while only giving you your schedule 2 days before the week starts. So many people had to leave because they relied on that flexibility and they were just given a mere $1000 (that's heavily taxed). On top of that, the systems we need to work are constantly breaking down and we are encouraged to move our hours around but only if they're in the time constraints. So we are forced to try to be flexible in a setting that doesn't want us to be and only for their convenience. The rules are constantly changing and on top of that they put a fake smile and use toxic positivity to make you feel like this is normal and acceptable.

Pros

Working from home and getting an employee discount on clothing/accessories.

Cons

Respect from the top is not given to the 'worker bees' a.k.a. the stylists. Things are constantly being taken away (better pto, yearly raises do not happen, ability to work when we want) while nothing is being given back to us.
