Pros

- Used to have an inspiring and diverse MGMT - Kind people - Interesting ways to use data science

Cons

- No longer a diverse or inspiring MGMT - Poor, prescriptive leadership - Lack of company and product vision - Wasted resources as a result of lack of vision causing churn in product strategy - Unequal opportunities for POC vs white employees - Doesn't make the most of its algorithmic capabilities - No commitment from MGMT to initiatives that would benefit customers - Inauthentic culture of inclusion without fostering true belonging - Toxic positivity

company is not what it used to be

Pros

Work From Home, set your own hours within paramerters

Cons

This company is not what it used to be. When I started it was an uplifting supportive place to work. I was motivated to do my best for the clients and the company because it truly felt as if leadership would do their best for their employees. I loved working here and was excited/proud to share my employer when asked. With the recent changes, negative publicity, new leadership and overall culture shift, it's like a different job entirely. It's clear that the negative environment starts at the top and I feel badly not only for my colleagues, but also my direct leadership who is taking the brunt of the fallout from the changes to scheduling. It often feels as if stylists are working against the company to do what is best for our clients, many of whom we've developed long relationships with, while the company focuses on efficiency and profit. It's sad to see a company that was once brought such hope and positivity to those of us who need to work from home, become such a toxic, defeating place to be.

Pros

Great job for people who don't need a job but love reading emails with graphics, gifs and exclamation points.

Cons

Unreliable- you may be asked to work anywhere between 0 and 20 hours per week. Toxic positivity Unclear expectations and evasive answers from supervisors whenever I asked for clarity, but the rules change so frequently, how can anybody be expected to keep up anyway?
