Truly heartless. They act as if SF (stitch fix and San Francisco) is the center of innovation and intelligence. Lip service for DAYS over how stylist are the heart beat of the company and then beg us to quit so they can hire less skilled (desperate) people with stricter guidelines. I guess you can call it building “equity” if you want but taking advantage of desperate times to hire more people of color seems like a reinforcement of oppression rather than a trailblazer of equity.

First and foremost, if you're looking for a consistent paycheck, you won't get it here. They'll change your hours at random and give you a day's notice. Sometimes, there's no work at all, and then you just have to clock out and cut your losses. If you need real money, work at a place with real hours. Second, did you notice that most of the 5-star reviews are short, say the same thing, and give little to no description of the actual work? Yeah, that's because they're not written by actual Stylists. According to management, no one's allowed to tell potential employees what the actual job is like, so all of the 5-star reviews are vague and generally unhelpful because they're written by management. Anyone who works here (for real) will tell you that this is a valueless company with mind-numbing assignments and a sorority-esque culture. Don't work here if you can avoid it.
