Pros

- Work from home - Creative outlet - Make your own schedule (kinda)

Cons

- No room for growth. Unless you want to become a lead (good luck with that, so does everyone else), or if you're happy with getting a dollar raise once and never again, the buck stops at styling. - The Stylists are the worker bee's, turnover rate is high, and it's easy to feel unappreciated & burnt out. Especially when you're doing more/better than other Stylists and your pay is still the same. - Expectations are high and unclear. There is no sense of cohesion between leads, teams, and upper management. - You can only use your employee discount on items above a certain price range...I mean c'mon now...does Nordstrom tell it's employees they can't shop from the sale rack?! - The way stats are measured are often inaccurate and unclear, yet we're still held to some imaginary standard that know one really understands.

Pros

Flexibility No commute Work from home Created an online community for Stylists (to help feel connected) Discount

Cons

I was really sad as I used to LOVE my job but it has gone down. Inventory is so bad! Unless you are able to style within a few hour period (usually during the afternoon) inventory is awful. Which makes the flexibility go out the door. It also feels like the company doesn't take any responsibility for the poor inventory. Clients are disappointed when they aren't receiving the items that were in the promotions when Stitch Fix doesn't actually care most of those pieces.

Pros

Working from home and not having to drive to an office every day. Pay was ok.

Cons

They constantly have inventory issues. There is never enough inventory to give the customers a good Fix. They can't seem to figure out how to order the correct amount of inventory and you are always disappointing customers because of this. You even go through times of just a handful of items to pick from for a client. They use the excuse that it is a start-up company when the reality is that they just don't understand inventory and ordering. You are told to do 4 Fixes per hour, yet you always have lots of emails, surveys, and other things to take care of during the week. They care more about just quickly sending out a bad Fix than taking the time to understand the customer and waiting for the right item to pop into the inventory later in the day or week. Lots of customer complaints of high prices and poor quality.
