Pros

The flexibility and work from home atmosphere is amazing as a student or whatever your needs are for flexibility.

Cons

The work gets really boring and the clientele is very hard to please. You never really see the clothes (the online visual is hard to tell handfeel, sheerness, etc) and you rarely get to see a photo of the client. The clothing variety is one note and inventory maintenance is horrible (inventory is constantly low and inconsistent). What is available in the east coast warehouse is not available in the west coast warehouse, so clients do not have access to the same things. Numbers are very important here and tiny drops in sales (a few dollars) I get emailed about saying I'm not doing my job up to par.

Cons

Company still working on internal structure, no HR presence in Austin, no maternity leave plan for a company that employs primarily women

Poor Company Culture

Pros

Remote work, 40% discount, flexible schedule - or it used to be.

Cons

The lack of inventory and seasonal items makes styling hard. Having a new-ish CEO who cares more about investors and making the company look better than it is hurts employees and the business's bottom line. No job security for anyone, poor benefits, and compensation. When Katrina Lake was an active CEO the company thrived, employees were happy, and the business was growing and profitable...a few years later and now things look like a slowly sinking ship... with holes being stuffed with floral polyester tops that are out of season and overpriced.
