Pros

Working from home, employee discount

Cons

The company got lost with it’s focus somewhere along the way and is SUPER reactive instead of getting ahead of any of the issues that face it. Forces company culture down everyone’s throats but has trouble actually emulating it (especially the value of “authenticity”). The company has a pretty severe lack of diversity and is trying to be performative/cover it up while it has no clear or actionable plan to accomplishing this. Overall, could be a cushy beneficial job but the people optics and politics make it not worth it even one little bit.

Pros

You get to work from home (but it's hard to balance it all still). Pay is okay for part-time.

Cons

Everything. Completely unrealistic expectations. They want the clients to think that everything is about them and serving them when the reality is it's all about the metrics and styling a certain amount of clients in a certain amount of time. They put A LOT of emphasis on meeting your metrics and expect all of your metrics to be perfect every week. No growth opportunities. Feels like they use stylists to get a lot of the nitty gritty done. No benefits. Not enough hours to feel like you can complete your tasks and expectations successfully.

Pros

Flexible hours Work from home Pays above minimum Fun seasonal events

Cons

No full time work available Very repetitive Upper management downplays all issues Gets really lonely and boring- led to depression for me No benefits Inventory flows SUCK and no one cares- it affects your metrics and then they bump you down to 15 hours... and it's not even your fault. They over-hire so they don't care about cutting your hours
