Cons

My positive experience working with StoneRiver was short lived. The department tenure is young and became very telling listening to the current employees speak of past co-workers. The department leadership is inexperienced and show complete lack of respect. My experience may not be representative of the company as a whole, but do your homework before accepting a position with this company.

Its a good company treat ppl very well, and provide opportunities to grow. good benefits. very close to public transport system.

Cons

But their compensation is below market. Never make the market adjustment. Also there is a huge difference in salary between ppl in the same role

Pros

If they survive until 2012, they will be a market leader in Insurance software solutions.

Cons

They isn't enough fairness to all employees in the company and recognition for a job well done is limited to a few "favored" employees that have been with the company since the early years. Some of the senior management and first line managers don't know how to manage and subsequently use micro management as an excuse for managing their staff.
