Pros

- Food selection for break/lunch - Occasionally get to do returns - $1.50 customer (compliment) service award gift card - TV in break room. its kind of nice to have. - ready made chicken and sometimes fries but that's it. the rest must be cooked but still kind of nice to have. -Good coworkers usually.

Cons

- one microwave and one fridge... but no toaster oven? disappointing for a grocery store break room - Can't eat or drink while at the register. Eating sure but it's a grocerry store you should be able to have a sip while your waiting for the next customer to enter your lane. - have to stand at register the entire time and clean it when no - min wage and very poor raises - Last second scheduling. You have about 3 days tops before you can see the next weeks schedule making it very difficult to make plans.

Pros

Once you are hired very flexible. You can change when you can work and they have to make that work due to the union. The people I work with are amazing and you will make a great amount of life long friends. The customers are alright, work is very easy. Paid vacations and sick pay is great.

Cons

The managers stress way too much. Its a good job for high school and college kids who need flexibility but the managers act like this is your career when its just a job to you and its annoying. Managers also seem to think you are dumber then you are no matter what. Hard to move up and when you do the pay raises slim to none.
