Pros

It was okay as a place to work. I learned that I wanted to go into other lines of work, though.

Cons

Pretty low salary, scheduling was pretty difficult

Pros

Stop and Shop offers reasonably stable hourly employment. The hourly positions are union, but ruled by the almighty payroll dollar.

Cons

Stop and Shop is a heartless company that cares nothing for its employees. There is no equity in positions and/ or opportunities, the turnover rate is astronomical and the abuse doled out by the management is frightening. The company cares nothing about you beyond how much work they can squeeze out of you in your scheduled shift.
