Pros

Everyone helps each other at this company and works toward a common goal. They provide excellent benefits and really take care of you. They also make sure you feel comfortable in your role. Not to mention, the owners and higher-ups are great human beings and care about everyone.

Cons

The only Con is the lower than average wages.

I am a very career oriented individual and I am quicker than most to apply to different companies to improve my salary/work-life balance. With Straight North, I finally found a long term fit for me. I have confidence in the leadership here and all departments I have interacted with. I very much want to be working here. I hope to grow with this company.

Ever since I have joined this company, I have learned so much on a regular basis and it is amazing the amount of patience others have shown while I progress in my role. I love working for people who appreciate my efforts and see my intentions to work towards the betterment of the company and towards a common goal. I have worked in other small company before but never seen where partners walk around and talk to you without an ounce of ego. This is that company. The management takes time to get to know you as individuals and I love that about the culture of this company. Straight North is a small company and you definitely have a lot of work to do but work life balance is important to everyone here. No one ever forces you to do more.

Cons

It is a small company, sometimes you may have to do more than what's part of your initial defined role BUT I personally see that as an opportunity and it helps me not see that as a CON.
