Pros

Potential for seasonal employment; good way to get your hazmat endorsement if you don’t have it; energy jobs are mostly stable; most trucks in fleet are <5 years old

Cons

Upper management has no appreciation for employees; raises are tough to get (new hires get top $ for recruitment though)

Not too bad hey

Pros

They allow you to do things right. Nobody will come to the job site and tell you to cut corners for time’s sake or do something to screw a customer. If you can do your job well, you get left alone. Company vehicle is great. The variety of work I do is great.

Cons

Hours can be tough. On call gets tough. Management doesn’t seem to grasp the physical realities of propane distribution outside of bobtails and gallons sold. For instance the bulk plants don’t get the attention they need. Compensation is alright but could be better.
