Pros

Lots of great experience to learn due to complexity of the credit union. Great training program and support for career advancement.

Cons

Micro managers at high levels. Too many opinions from management. They need to learn to trust their staff working for them to make sound decisions.

Pros

Benefits are fantastic. 15 vacation days a year, 5% into your 401K with up to an additional 5% matching contribution. Huge company-wide emphasis on work/life balance and a positive work culture.

Cons

Despite the company-wide emphasis on positive work culture, the lower-level management is relatively weak and doesn't address workplace issues, particularly interpersonal issues. In some instances, issues with employees who did not complete their work and contributed to a negative work culture were never addressed.

Pros

Great benefits, good coworkers, many professional development opportunities

Cons

Because they can't hold onto call center employees after RTO was introduced, all branch lenders now have to be signed into the call center at all times and taking calls any time they don't have members in our offices. That along with constant "SOS" messages when there are under 5 calls in the queue make it extremely difficult to focus on the job I agreed to. They say we're "doing our part" by helping in busy times, but when are call center staff going to help in busy branch times? I didn't take a job in a call center for a reason and this change has me looking for other employment. It's a shame, because this was my favorite company I've worked for until they rolled this out.
