      A company with potential, in a long period of uncomfortable change.

      Pros

      -Great product, easy to passionate about what you are selling. -Great discount and annual perks. -When sales are up, it is a fantastic and energetic environment to be in. -The clients are usually pretty wonderful. -Sales model allows you to meet and get to know some incredible and interesting people.

      Cons

      -Single coverage - you work by yourself pretty much all the time, excluding Saturdays. -Zero work/life balance. -Canadian zone prefers to hire from without rather than promote from within leaving little or no advancement opportunities and unengaged associates as no one is being trained for next. -Too much communication without enough context. It is overwhelming and the employees still don't know what the message was.

      Pros

      Positive environment, great product and wonderful customers. Many positions available within the Luxottica brand family. A great company to grow with.

      Cons

      A large expectation that the store will come first above family at all times. Long hours with no breaks. Many expectations for management have stayed even though the labour allotment to complete certain activities was taken away.

      Pros

      SGH offers the ability to make some good money for a general sales associate if you have a good work ethic. Basically you get paid 1 - 5% commission on sunglasses that can range anywhere from about $100 to $400.

      Cons

      Annoying POS system that sometimes will crash during shut down. Also, secret shopping evaluation criteria does not always examine the best selling techniques.
