Pros

You just stand around all day. Work itself is rarely difficult.

Cons

Upper management is useless and barely supportive. You could be getting robbed blind every evening by the same person and they just shrug at you. NO BREAKS!! If you are alone/single coverage you get NO! breaks. No work life balance if you're a manager because of constant and chronic low staffing. One person calls out and you better be expected to drop everything in your life to cover or else you'll get written up.
