Pros

SunSource is a good company with solid management. They have some of the best product lines. There are many different divisions and places to work. Benefits are above average. Service facilities are top notch. Most employees care about company and work hard.

Cons

The Management is highly focused on improving sales and margins which make for stressful days. They do not allow salesman to set competitive prices. Customer Service is forced to use an old computer system with many road blocks to get orders placed. Sales calls are tracked and weekly conference calls are a waste of time. Commission is lower than most. They only pay salesmen about $.27/mile for reimbursement with nothing extra. They have a policy and rule for everything.

Pros

There are several people that care and want to do right by the customer.

Cons

Professionalism on the senior level leaves something to be desired. C-levels will not hesitate to degradate employees in front of others or vendors and are abusive. Meanwhile, other parts of management will cower down to avoid getting yelled at/insulted. It's a toxic environment to say the least. In addition, don't expect to get credit for the work you do.

Pros

People are very nice to work with. They offer training of all sorts so you can grow individually.

Cons

No room for growth outside of sales. They have not handled Covid well. People who can be working remotely are still required to come into the office. This in spite of multiple people coming to work and testing positive. They are risking people's lives for no reason.
