      Pros

      My colleagues cared about performing work with excellence while being excellent to each other. There were a lot of opportunities for career growth, and the health insurance was better than most.

      Cons

      The economic downturn has negatively impacted the construction industry. Most of my team were recently laid off, including our CTO. Our new CEO is generally cutting a huge number of tech jobs from the company. Management wanted our team to be "like a family" and would socialize instead of ending a meeting if we had covered all our topics. They called without messaging first, then got angry when we did not pick up right away. They also messaged us on the weekend with an emergency once and expected us to respond right away.

      Pros

      Sunstate is in the midst of a major transformation, with a lot of positive change in the works. I'm excited about the growth we have coming, and love seeing how excited our team members are getting about the changes we're making. Can't wait to see where we go from here!

      The cange can be hard to process sometimes, but its a necessary part of staying relevant and competitive in a rapidly changing industry.

      The people culture at my branch is amazing, my manager and team are very supportive in the day to day at work. I love that the work-life balance compliments my life and I do not feel like work is my whole life. Great benefits

      Having a clear path for advancement that align more closely with long-term career goals. Our current operational frameworks need modernization, there is a great opportunity to streamline our workflow using more current tools
