PMM team ICs are great to work with, but leadership was lacking and not really aligned with the company culture. Overall good pay.

Cons

Lots of changes and like most changes alot of confusion comes about.

Pros

- Great base salary & stipends (wellness, wifi, etc) - Retirement match - HSA employer contribution - Generous parental leave (compared to other US companies) - If you're hub based, there's free food - Grammarly is a well loved product with a strong brand (cannot speak for Coda and Superhuman, but it seems the same for Superhuman) - Some genuinely kind people who are great to work with

Cons

- Instability from multiple acquistions in one year, plus the rolling layoffs (they have every month but there aren't any announcements) and resourcing impacts from those layoffs - Many are willing to throw you under the bus, especially in the current environment where a lot is unknown and everyone wants to save their own job - Growth opportunties vary a lot, it depends on having a solid manager who can advocate for you and help you get high visibility projects - Leadership seems to be scrambling to plan catch up in a very competitive landscape - Work/life balance isn't great; working evening and weekends weekly is normal, plus early or late meetings across timezones - Long interview process based on company values that the company no longer aligns with - Still very start-up-y with a lack of governance over tools (e.g. knowledge sharing is a mess)
