Pros
I never thought I'd say it, but SupplyPro is finally getting its act together. Management is stepping up to take this 20 year old sleeper and turn it into a real company. There have been massive changes/improvements in the organization over the last few years and a lot of the tired and outdated technology that was driven by misdirected sales people has finally been addressed and fixed. I finally got a raise last year and a bonus and I heard some other people did too. It's obvious there are some investments being made. We are moving to a new building and that will be in improvement. They used to give out snacks, but there haven't been any for a while - they weren't that good anyway. When the company makes it's quarterly number, which is kind of a mystery, they bring in a lunch truck. The company has really good ideas about technology (but they are not communicated very well). The management team is very good and has success other places (but there's not a lot of talent below them). Seems like management will support you and invest in you if you are good (but a con is they aren't cool if you're not).
Cons
The amount of changes in progress makes the place a little crazy at times. Some of the people that are working at the company are frankly incompetent and unable to handle "real" responsibilities and challenges. There are missed opportunities for good people because there's people holding everyone back and I'm not sure if management sees this. The company is mostly a technology company but keeps selling vending machines that are old fashioned - they are not investing in cool stuff fast enough, but that seems like it's changing. The management team has huge expectations, they are tough, and not very tolerant. The VP of Sales is a really nice guy, has been at the company forever, but is no nonsense. This is only a con if you aren't down with working hard. The place could be more fun.
