      Pros

      Surescripts has put together an amazing team across all levels of the organization, looking for the best candidates instead of just someone to fill a position. On both the product/business side and technology side we have very interesting problems to solve, and solving those problems results in helping stabilize health care costs and providing a solid network for the greater American public good. Work/life balance and benefits are also top notch. Career advancement opportunities abound here as well!

      Cons

      Surescripts continues to work toward breaking down the silos between the business org and technology org, but we do have some room to grow there.

      Pros

      It was very difficult for myself to find this kind of work environment anywhere else. The teams I have worked with so far are amazing. I always wake up excited about coming to work. The company is very invested in its employees. The management is transparent and have an open door policy. The voice of every employee is heard which is not the case in other companies I worked for. The biggest benefit in my opinion is the ability to move vertically or horizontally in the company if you would like to pursue a specific role. The management will ensure you are taken care of and will help you get where you want to be. And most importantly will set you up for success.

      Cons

      The company is spread over a few states. Which might limit the ability to apply for internal jobs if they happen to be in a different state. This limitation is probably common in big companies in general.
