      Work environment is friendly in Swagelok.

      Stressful, a lot of meetings, some of them had low value but is company culture...

      Pros

      The best pro is the fact that we shutdown for Christmas and New Year's every year. There is not a lot of positive other than that in my opinion.

      Cons

      At one time this was a very elite company with great perks and benefits that made it a privilege to work here. Now, it's just your run of the mill manufacturing facility. They value engineers over all else so unless you have an engineering degree then you won't advance at all. They post positions however everything is pretty much already spoken and they are only posting to say they abide by the rules. You can look around very quickly and determine who will advance and who will not. It's still an old boys club.

      Nice office environment. Lots of resources at disposal. ESOP.

      Cons

      Only people that can make decisions are the CEO and CFO.
