Pros

Got to work with some really great people, with fun personalities and good work ethic. Good health and retirement benefits, including a ESOPs plan. Was new to construction industry and learned how to read architectural plans and about finances for construction projects.

Cons

It might be common for the construction industry, but the hours were really long. Typical day was 10 to 14 hours, due to staffing issues in the field office. Made it difficult to find work/life balance.
