Pros

--great group of staff willing to be there to help young people learn and grow --always a pleasure getting to work and know the families --students are generally enthusiastic, eager, and a joy to work with

Cons

--pay much too low for tutors/teachers who work with students --franchise owners sometimes want directors to assume two roles but pay only for one... which is offensively low given the expectations and responsibilities --franchise owners can derail a location based on their own lack of experience, pettiness, or ability to let their directors do what they were hired to do --it was devastating having to "put out fires" that negatively impacted relationships with families and, thus, jeopardized longterm contracts because franchise owner would change terms or demand something inconsistent with what was previously established with parents

Pros

The kids are sweet, unfortunately the terrible management will get in the way of any positive thing you try to do for them

Cons

Unprofessional and will literally lie to you. They offered me the job at $20 per hour, and then halfway through the hiring process told me it was actually $13... uhhh okay... They advertised this job as remote tutoring job, and hired me knowing that I live out of state, and then AFTER I went through the ENTIRE hiring process and filled out 10,000 pages of paperwork, and AFTER I had already been tutoring for a week and gotten to know my students, they tell me that they actually can't hire anyone who doesn't live in Texas, and fire me. Terrible company. I feel really bad for the kids.
